Daily Tip

Don't over-do it. If you feel yourself getting tired, take a break.

We have all done it... committed ourselves to cutting a pattern that will take much more time then we have available. So we push purselves past where we are comfortable, and we end up getting three quarters of the way to completion and it explodes into a thousand tiny splinters.

The best way to avoid this kind of "accident" is to take frequent breaks, and then finally quit scrolling when you are tired. Far too often we overcommit and end up making drudgery out of a task we normally love. The cause of this is pretty simple we are just plain tired. Turn off the saw, walk around a bit, go outside and get some fresh air, whatever it takes, then if you feel up to it resume your cutting. Both you and your project will be better off in the long run.
