Daily Tip

Here's a great tip sent in via E-mail from Dick Miraglia

Hello Jeff:    I was just reading your article in CWWC where you recommended using an oversized toothbrush to apply the mineral spirits or paint thinner to the project  to remove the pattern.  An easy method I use is to lay the project in a tray, put a layer of paper towels over the project, and then just pour some solvent on it saturating the towels.  Go have a  cup of coffee and a couple of biscotti and relax for about 15 minutes.  When you get back to your workshop, the pattern will be gray and come right off.   This method seems to dissolve the adhesive better and any remaining seems to come off easily when wiped with some dry towels.    I have really enjoyed all of your articles.  Regards,  Dick Miraglia
