Daily Tip

Here's a good tip about pattern removal that comes to you via an e-mail from Don Wilson

My name is Don Wilson. I,m a seventy-five year old retiree and have been scrolling for about eight years. I would like to offer a few hints if I may.

I also use 3-M spray adhesive and when I want to remove a pattern I use an embossing heat tool. I pass it over the pattern until the pattern is loose enough to lift off, which is just a few seconds. Instead of using mineral spirits to remove the adhesive from the wood I use a product called " Wipe Away". You can get it at most hardware stores. Wet a cloth with the solution and wipe it across the wood and it takes the glue off .It does not soak into or discolor the wood. No need to wait overnight. You can finish off the piece in a short time. I hope these hints will be of use to you. The heat tool can be found at craft stores.
