Eclipse Scroll SawI get a lot of E-mails asking about what type of saw I use and why, so I thought I would devote a page to answering just that question Those of you that have followed my work for awhile know that until recently I used a DeWalt to do all my cutting, and thought it was a pretty good saw (which it is for the money) however, I was recently able to get an Eclipse. The difference is in the precission, and it is really something you would have to see for yourself to believe. I was already pretty confident in abilities as a scroller, but with the Eclipse Scroll Saw, there is NOTHING I wouldn't attempt to cut.
Before telling you too much more, let me say this first. A lot of Scroll Saw Artists get paid either with money or tools to recommend equpiment. I was offered two of the high end saws on the market for free if I would recommend them, and I turned both companies down. I paid full price for my Eclipse just like anyone else who wants one will. Upgrading saws has taken my scrolling to a level that I didn't think I could reach, I had no idea how much difference there would be. Not only am I able to cut more precisely, I actually increased my production, as I can now cut 6 pieces of oak where before I could only cut 4. I figure with the increased amount of productivity, I should be able to re-coup the cost of the saw in about a year. There is truth in the old saying you get what you pay for Add on top of the remarkable performance of the saw that Ernie (the man who hand builds each and every Eclipse) offers a 30 day no questions asked money back guarantee, and a warrantee that exceeds most other saws on the market and you will see you have absolutely nothing to lose, and everything to gain.
